So here goes nothing... This is my first ever time blogging and decided I would do this because in the last 2 months we have gone through a lot of new baby stuff and today I was thinking.... "I wish I had a way of keeping track of everything that had happened" along with "I wonder if anything I have been through could help other moms?"  This blog is my answer.

The last 2 months will be summarized in upcoming blogs, but here is the first 3 days in a nutshell-

On 12/31/12 at 4:27pm (7.5 hours before the tax cut off!) we had little miss Caroline Sophia at Lourde's Hospital in Binghamton, NY. She was born on her due date (which apparently only 10% of babies actually do this), weighed 7lbs 9oz and was 19 inches long.  She absolutely hated the Dr. and anytime a nurse would touch her she would scream. As you can see, the bath did not go very well at all.  Breastfeeding was brutal and she only ate a total of 3 times, the night time nurse was a horrible hands on know it all and once I asked her to leave I never saw her again, the other 3 nurses were fabulous!  All she wanted to do was sleep and would not wake up to eat... more on that one later.  The food was great except for the cream of wheat, but the food for dad's was better so AJ kept getting me english muffins, graham crackers, and a ginger ale/cranberry juice concoction one of the nurses made me!
